Does God have YOUR Attention

I know God does many things for MANY different reasons, i know that i'm clearly not ready to have a g/f by the way God has shown me reacting to a girl i thought liked me and wanted to date me but turns out likes my best friend.

I don't put up with alot for long, and this has been going on longer then i'm willing to put up with. But i know this is a test from God and i don't know how well i'm doing.

She told me that i should have told her how i felt but i make my feelings WELL known to her how i felt, but she doesn't listen or it seems doesn't want to. who really knows other then God.

Back to my point Does God have YOUR attention, how does he get it when your not paying attention to him. I know for me this could be one of the ways God has gotten mine, i should have realized that i should wait on him for sending me a g/f that will turn in to a wife.

Yes i know sometimes we tend to stray off and live for us and not for God, and God has to kick us in the face to get us back on track, which is good. Hell i know i need it sometimes and this whole summer dealing with this girl i thought i liked is one of those times when i need to get back to him and not worry about silly ass crap like some girl who i don;t really talk to that often anyway either on the phone or on msn WHEN my computer IS working, or in person.

So God gets our attention either with a break up or a loss of a Job, or pretty much anything, but we all need to realize that God needs to be our focus.

i think i lost my train to thought somewhere on here..... oh well.
